Art Workshops Workshops in drawing, pastel and watercolor are being planned for the fall of 2009. They will be offered quarterly. Enrollment is limited. If you are interested in being placed on the waiting list for such classes, please contact Anne via email. Please indicate which discipline you are interested in, Drawing - Pastels - Watercolor Which level do you consider yourself? Beginner, Intermediate, Advanced Anne's influence in teaching is derived largly from Julia Cameron's "The Artist Way" and Betty Edwards' "Drawing On The Right Side Of The Brain" Her classes will be held in her studio in Echo Farms, which has a gorgeous landscape view of the Echo Farms Golf Course. This also may provides a good husband and wife combo activity. ;-) A more detailed syllabus will be presented |

Anne's Professional Art Training Anne's professional Art training began at Montclair State University , then a college, where she earned a BA and MA in Fine Arts Education. Anne taught for 7 years in the New Jersey public school. She left teaching to pursue her own creative work. Anne spent a year in Europe traveling and studying European Art, Art Education and the culture. She visited France, Italy, Barcelona, Spain, England, and her ancestral home, the town of Blaricom, in the Netherlands. She spent six weeks studying art and painting at the University of Guadalajara, Mexico under the direction of a disciple of Orozco and Rivera, the famous Mexican mural painters. She attended workshops in New Mexico with Julia Cameron, author of “The Artist Way”, Springmaid in South Carolina with Catherine Liu, Skip Lawrence, Polly Hammet, Glen Bradshaw, Barbara Nechis. She studied pastel with Daniel Greene in his studio in Salem, New York, and Joyce and Don Naegal in Wilmington, NC. In Pittsburgh, she studied with Jean Dobie. Other workshops include Jean Grastdorf, Charles Reid, and in New Jersey with Clair Romano, Don Getz, Roberta Carter Clark. and Burt Silverman.
She attended workshops at the Watercolor Societies of Philadelphia and Ohio. Anne's paintings have been published in Best of Watercolor, Best of Portrait, Best of Oil Painting. She is in Who’s Who in America and Who’s Who in American Women. |
